FIELD: aeronautical engineering; heavy aircraft alighting gears. SUBSTANCE: main undercarriage includes shock-absorber strut articulated to aircraft wing, power cylinder - jack articulated to shock absorber strut and aircraft wing. Shock absorber strut is connected with frame of wheeled trolley mounted for rotation about its axis. First lever is fitted on articulation portion of shock absorber strut. Second lever which is connected with first lever by means of power cylinder is rigidly mounted on frame. Beams provided with universal joints at ends for mounting the wheels are installed on frame. Each universal joint is provided with lever which is connected with respective beams by means of power cylinder. Shock absorber strut is connected with frame of trolley by means of stabilizing shock absorber. Such construction of main undercarriage makes it possible to mount its components in one plane, thus reducing its overall dimensions in retracted position and minimum structural depth of wing. EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions of retracted undercarriage and reduced structural depth of wing. 3 dwg
