FIELD: lubricating materials. SUBSTANCE: lube oil is first subjected to preliminarily treating with basic reagent, then to first treatment involving preliminary flash vaporization to remove, contained in the oil, water and most easily vaporizing fractions, after which oil is subjected to fractional distillation and purification to remove high polymers and heavy metals performed in the same fill-type column 21 to produce at least one fraction of repurified oil. Separation of high polymers and heavy metals as well as dropping very heavy and viscous oils occurs near the basement of column 21 by the aid of cyclone separator 23. Repurified oils are finally decolorized and can be regarded as basic oils to produce lube oils. EFFECT: intensified oil regeneration process. 42 cl, 5 dwg , 1 tbl
