METHOD OF ERECTION OF ARCHES Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract RU 2099480 C1

FIELD: construction, erection of arches of lightened arch buildings. SUBSTANCE: arches are mounted on a foundation and their flanged ends are fastened to the anchor member installed at an angle to the foundation towards the span increase; final tightening of the bolts inserted in the oval holes of the flanges is carried out after erection of the arches and guard structures. Supports are installed on the anchor members of both arch abutments, with the distance from the support to the anchor bolt being equal to the sum of the design size of the distance from the bolt to the flange edge and half the length of the flange oval hole. EFFECT: enhanced quality of erection of arch buildings due to enhanced precision of installation of arches for the preset span, enhanced bearing capacity of arches against arising overstrain because of the shift of the arch ends under gravity. 2 cl, 3 dwg
