FIELD: designs of yielding props of mine support; may be used in any mining and geological conditions. SUBSTANCE: design of mine support yielding prop includes lengths of special section taken in pairs and having through longitudinal recesses, and connecting member in form of wedge located in combined recesses of paired lengths of special section. In this case, recesses in internal nondeformable part of prop are conjugated with bottom of special section to ensure contact of bottom with wedge made flat with one-sided edge face beveled towards bottom of special section. EFFECT: simple design, reliable in operation.
