FIELD: support of mine workings with metal anchors provided with spacer locks. SUBSTANCE: method includes putting both spacer half-couplings 4 on wedge end 3 of anchor bolt 2; insertion of anchor bolt 2 into metal mounting tube 5; introduction of anchor bolt 2 with put-on half-coupling 4 and tube 5 into borehole 1 and its moving down to bottom of borehole 1 or to the required depth; putting and screwing nut 6 onto tail end of anchor bolt 2 with the help of for instance power nut driver to attain the preset axial force with tube 5 held immovable; unscrewing nut 6 from tail end 8 of anchor bolt 2; putting on tail end 8 of anchor bolt 2 of supporting plate 9 and nut 6; tightening the latter to attain the preset axial force. EFFECT: reduced density of anchor location, cut down cost of support of mine workings, increased force of anchor preliminarily tensioning to increase bearing capacity of anchored rock mass, and reduced expenditures for maintenance of such support. 4 dwg
