FIELD: construction engineering; mining. SUBSTANCE: method is used for fastening main, auxiliary, and cleaning mine workings, for protecting from soil heaving, for fastening mining equipment, and for solving similar problems in other industries, in construction, in private life, etc. Method involves mechanical anchor wedging. Novelty is that anchor being wedged has bar, lock, gripper devices, temperature-sensing force members whose temperature in preset position differs from that of mass; it also has rear stop; wedging, fixing, and anchor tensioning in mass are effected due to deformation of temperature-sensing force members.
