FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: protector has housing with diaphragm secured inside it on support, first and second nipples with pivot unit located between them and upper and lower heads fitted with flanges for connecting the pump and electric motor. Shaft mounted in housing is provided with upper and lower end seals. Valve and casing are also mounted in housing. Casing provided with flange is mounted on upper seal. Protector is provided with baffle-plate. First nipple and flange of casing are provided with additional holes which register in mounting. Baffle plate is made in form of disk rigidly secured on shaft under casing. Hole of casing is communicated with pipe surrounding space. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 cl, 2 dwg
