FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical machine building, and can be used for the hydraulic protection of submersible oil-filled electric motors for oil production pumps. Protector includes a body, shaft with supporting bearings and end seals placed in a nipple zone, saddle assembly, head, base, pressure relief system and gas removal system. Axle-bearing nipples and support bearings are located along the shaft between the head and the base to form hydraulic seals. Saddle assembly with shaft support is located in the lower part of the protector and is combined with the base unit. System for pressure venting and removing gases contains lower and upper cylindrical diaphragms located respectively in lower and upper hydrosocket chambers. Lower diaphragm separates the electric motor cavity from the intermediate cavity, and the upper one separates the intermediate cavity from the annular space. Diaphragms are connected to the nipples and fixed by springs with forces that allow the diaphragms to open slightly when pressure in the lower cavities is reached before the diaphragms of a certain value, but providing a tight connection diaphragm with nipples at lower pressure.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at preventing damage to the diaphragm by pressure drop between the cavities it divides.
