FIELD: pyrometric and infra-red imaging systems. SUBSTANCE: object brightness temperature is measured by method of filament fading by balancing the brightness of pyrometer standard lamp and object. Object temperature is determined by filament current value and register object brightness either by matrix or linear photoreceiver. Image of standard lamp filament is projected on part of photoreceiver cells, the filament current on which is supplied only in calibration mode and changed in compliance with linear law. Current values are numbered in succession and stored at moment of photoreceiver signal increment. In measurement mode object temperature is determined by stored value of filament current in compliance with output signal value of brightness pyrometer photoreceiver.
