FIELD: determination of temperature of moving objects-particles. SUBSTANCE: radiation intensity is measured at decomposition into spectrum. Spectral intensities are summed up during measurement on N wave lengths from flying unequally heated particles of condensed phase observed when heterogeneous object moves in lateral direction relative to preset section. Then total thermal spectrum U is obtained from unequally heated particles. This spectrum is vector of the following values: u(l1), u(l2)...u(li)...u(lN), where u(li) is total spectral intensity obtained on wave length li. This done, histogram Z of temperature distribution of particles is determined. It represents vector of values Z(T1), Z(T2),...Z(TN) at N preset temperature in compliance with the following formula: Z = A-1•U (1), where A is size N.N matrix of values {a(li, Tj)} of spectral intensity of black body radiation determined by Planck radiation formula on each of measured N wave lengths and at each of N preset temperatures. Average temperature of particles is found from formula . EFFECT: higher measurement results. 1 dwg
