FIELD: radiolocation, identification of air targets by radars with narrow-band pulse linear frequency modulated signal. SUBSTANCE: mix of known target identifier is supplemented with synchronizer, generator of linear frequency-modulated signal, amplitude detector, high-frequency amplifier, adder, first and second delay lines, first and second integrators, full-wave rectifier, divider, frequency divider and identifier. Interunit couplings are changed accordingly. Thanks to these changes there is used highly informative symptom characterizing rate of change of level of signal reflected from target when frequency of probing linear frequency-modulated signal is retuned that is averaged within limits of half angular duration of widest lobe of pattern of reverse secondary radiation of target. Usage of this symptom enhances authenticity of identification of air targets within wide ranges of distances. EFFECT: enhanced probability of correct radar identification of air targets. 1 dwg
