FIELD: radar equipment, pulse radars with simple narrow-band probing signals used for determination of number of single targets present in one unresolved pulse volume of radar. SUBSTANCE: mix of known radar device is supplemented with power amplifier, heterodyne, expansion circuit, pulse counter, indicator and intermediate frequency amplifier, amplitude detector, first differentiating network, full-wave rectifier, envelope detector, second differentiating network and diode connected in series. Interunit couplings of circuit are changed in this case. Positive effect achieved by new design of device recognizing composition of target consists in appearance of possibility to establish quantitative composition of group target on basis of simple narrow-band probing of space with pulses having duration of units of microsecond which is easily realized in radar of present-day stock. EFFECT: provision for capability of recognition of quantitative composition of group target unresolved with narrow-band pulse probing. 2 dwg
