FIELD: radars, applicable for identification of air targets by means of a radar using a two-frequency narrow-band sounding signal. SUBSTANCE: sounding band is transferred to quasi-optical dispersion area, and four mixers, two local oscillators, switch, two amplitude detectors, signal tracking unit, two squarers, delay line, high-frequency amplifier, two intermediate- frequency amplifiers, frequency divider, divider, two integrators, two signal maximum amplitude measuring units and identification unit are introduced in the known device changing respectively the interunit couplings. Due to it the accuracy of measurement of target radial dimensions is enhanced, which gives positive results in target identification. EFFECT: enhanced probability of air target identification by means of narrow-band signals of two sounding frequencies. 5 dwg
