FIELD: heat engineering, namely temperature control of different objects in chemical, pharmaceutical, food industry branches, at medical diagnostics, biological investigation and criminology tests. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for controlling temperature includes container with object and temperature pickup, heat transfer means contacting with said container and joined with cold source, heat source, control unit whose input is connected with said temperature pickup. Novelty is heat transfer means in the form of gas duct filled by non-condensed gas and having blower. Said gas duct engages with lateral surface of container made of heat conductive material. Heat source is in the form of resistance heater and it is arranged inside container. Fan is also placed inside said container. Outputs of control unit are connected with blower and resistance heater. Said control unit may be connected with cold source for increasing efficiency. EFFECT: lowered time lag, increased rate of temperature change of object, high accuracy of sustaining predetermined temperature in static mode. 3 cl, 2 dwg
