SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an aerosol delivery system, a part with a cartridge for use with a reusable part of the aerosol delivery system, an apparatus part for use with the part with a cartridge in the aerosol delivery system, and a method for using the aerosol delivery apparatus. The aerosol delivery system comprises an apparatus part and a removable part with a cartridge, wherein the part with a cartridge is connected with the apparatus part during use. The apparatus part comprises a heater, and the part with a cartridge comprises a reservoir for the source liquid and an evaporation surface hydraulically communicating with the reservoir. When the part with a cartridge is connected with the apparatus part during use, the evaporation surface is in thermal contact with the heater, so that when the heater is activated, the evaporation surface is heated to evaporate at least a portion of the source liquid hydraulically communicating with the evaporation surface. The part with a cartridge is configured to prevent contact of the source liquid with the heater when the apparatus part and the part with a cartridge are connected for use.

EFFECT: possibility of reusing the heater with several cartridges without subjecting the heater to direct impact from any liquid in the cartridges is provided; reduction or elimination of contamination between the cartridges is ensured, the hygienic properties of the system are increased.
