SUBSTANCE: heat-retaining device (1) is intended for storing the substance (5) such as liquid, at constant temperature different from the temperature of the medium (1') outside this device. The device comprises a container (4) for storing the substance at a constant temperature and a source (3) of heat to compensate the heat transfer due to the difference between the external temperature and the constant temperature of storage. The heat source comprises a body (31) for retaining thermal energy and transferring it from the container or to it to compensate for said heat transfer due to the difference between the external temperature and the constant temperature of storage to maintain the constant temperature of the substance storage.
