FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: method deals with measuring intraocular pressure before and after four-minute-long local vacuum ocular decompression to estimate the decrease of intraocular pressure according to calculation formula. Glaucoma is predicted according to the coefficient value of intraocular pressure decrease being lower 40%. The method shows that at local impact of dosed decompression upon an eye one should observe the decrease of intraocular pressure in healthy people and patients with glaucoma at different degree. EFFECT: higher efficiency for early glaucoma diagnostics.
