TOOL CUTTING METAL Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: metal cutting in small fitting shops. SUBSTANCE: proposed tool cutting metal is meant for small fitting shops where machines to cut sheet metal or round steel rolled stock are not available. Tool has two levers with handles and cutting members hinged and mounted with clearance. Cutting members are made in the form of sawblade mounted on sprockets and installed on inner side of one of levers. There is no cutting members on the other lever. Two strips are positioned in parallel to axis of hinge on side of handle. One of them has screw. Tool is provided with drive of rotation of one of sprockets that is mounted on level with cutting member. EFFECT: improved handling convenience and efficiency of tool. 1 dwg, 4 dwg
