FIELD: corrosion protection. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to corrosion problems occurring in oil and gas production, in particular, to protection of oil production equipment against corrosion, for example, hydrogen sulfide corrosion. Inhibitor contains (i) oxygen-containing component which is still bottoms from rectification of cyclohexane oxidation and cyclohexanol dehydrogenation products or mixture of still bottoms with alcohol fraction from caprolactam production and (ii) nitrogen- containing additive which is one of ethylenediamine, diethylenetriamine, and polyethylenepolyamines, at oxygen to nitrogen weight ratio (6-10):1. EFFECT: improved corrosion protection in media with different mineralization level and increased resource for production of inhibitors. 1 tbl
