FIELD: metal protection from corrosion in oil and gas production, particularly protection of oil production equipment from acid corrosion including hydrogen sulfide. SUBSTANCE: inhibitor has caprolactam production wastes bearing oxygen. The wastes are in the form of bottoms from rectification products of cyclohexane oxidation and cyclohexanol dehydrogenization or its mixture with alcoholic fraction from caprolactam production. The wastes comprise also addition in the form of monoethanolamine or nitrogen bearing wastes from ammonia and caprolactam production with 2.5 oxygen-to-nitrogen mass ratio in the mixture.
