FIELD: corrosion protection. SUBSTANCE: inhibitor represents a composition containing 50-99 wt.% of synthetic oil and 1-50 wt.% of alcohol solvent. The former is formed as by-product in a process, in which benzene is hydrogenated into cyclohexane and cyclohexane oxidized into cyclohexanol to be further dehydrogenated. EFFECT: increased protection effect in single- and double-phase media saturated with carbon dioxide, enhanced aftereffect, and retained plasticity of steel. 4 tbl
