FIELD: electroplating, various branches of economy, predominantly aviation technology. SUBSTANCE: process involves double deposition of contact nickel from solution containing nickel chloride, boric and hydrofluoric acids with intermediate and subsequent removal of nickel, deposition of chrome sublayer at 10-25 C followed by wear resistant chromium plating and final thermal treatment at 120-125 C. EFFECT: expanded application field of process, improved wear resistance characteristics of coat.
