FIELD: production of all-knit articles with pattern. SUBSTANCE: method involves dividing needles of two needleboards into groups for different paths during one pass of knitting mechanism; laying underlayer and connecting threads on needles of each group by means of thread guides arranged in accordance with number of needles. Underlayer threads are laid on one group of needles by side thread guides positioned behind back of opposed needles. Fabrics are joined by changing pressing and connecting thread laying mode. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified method and enhanced reliability in operation. 4 dwg
