FIELD: textile industry, in particular, manufacture of circular knitted fabric, circular knitted products with filler, and cords of different diameters.

SUBSTANCE: circular warp-knitting machine has needle box with slots extending along needle box generatrix and adapted for positioning of needles in loose state therein, needle lifting mechanism, thread laying device and knitted fabric drawing mechanism. Needle box is made cylindrical and mounted for reversing rotation around its axis by means of rotary toothed gear mechanism of planetary type. The latter is axially aligned with needle box. Needle box is made replaceable. Needle carrier embraces needle box for vertical reciprocation by means of leverage mechanism for vertical displacement of needle carrier. Thread laying device is made immovable and positioned above needle box in axially aligned relation therewith. Needle boxes of different diameters may be used in said machine. Needle carrier is made replaceable. Thread laying device may be adjusted in vertical plane with respect to needle box. Additional guide is positioned in thread laying device and adapted for laying of filler to be knitted in article.

EFFECT: simplified construction of knitting mechanism, increased efficiency and wider operational capabilities.
