SPHERICAL SPATIAL CONSTRUCTION Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: construction, applicable in erection of buildings structures of the dome-shaped type of civil, industrial and agricultural purposes. SUBSTANCE: spherical spatial construction includes surface of a polygonal contour consisting of cells with plane bars. The surface of the spatial construction has size regular equilateral cross-shaped polygons, each of them has a regular equilateral octagon and pentagons adjoining it around its edges, which form four bulges and four cavities. Four cross-shaped polygons are positioned on the equator, and two polygons - on the poles. All cross-shaped polygons face each other with their cavities, small hexagons adjoin them to link all cross-shaped polygons on the surface, the remaining equivalent surface sections are regular equilateral hexagons so that the polygons of one half of the spatial surface are the mirror image of the polygons of the other half of the spatial surface. Each side of the polygon is formed by common adjoining to the side of the adjacent polygon; 2-3 angles of the adjacent polygons adjoin each angle of the polygon. An isosceles triangle with a short side and cells, closed in contour, whose angle spaces serve as hinges for the retainer studs is an assembly unit and component of the surface. The central attachment point is the flange with a bolt secured on it in the center, threaded studs - in circumference, and nuts, and the second flange with holes for the bolt and studs. A retainer consists of a strip with two studs and a strip with two holes for the studs, one threaded stud and a nut serves as the lateral attachment point. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 cl, 5 dwg
