FIELD: latching device. SUBSTANCE: door latch has body with spring-biased cross bar, inner and outer handles connected by square stem, pin extending through stem opening and engageable with base slot. Base is fixed on door. End of square stem positioned in inner handle is provided with button for locking fixed door. Device for moving button to initial position is adapted to act upon pin and is formed by button with projection extending beyond handle. Button may be formed as double-armed lever (key) pivotally secured in handle. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 cl, 4 dwg
