FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: starting device has drive shaft with cotter on one end, housing with central hole for drive shaft accommodating drive drum with splined central hole for drive shaft splines and holes for stop, stop with detent, winding drum with ring gear and ratchet gear, winding spring one end of which is secured on winding drum and the other, on drive drum, gear with handle, hand stop, stopper and hinged stop, one end of telescopic housing. Neck is made on other end of drive shaft. Support disk is mounted and secured on neck in axial direction. Telescopic housing is connected to disk by other end. EFFECT: possibility to create short-time torque on engine crankshaft without application of muscular forces when capacity of storage battery is not sufficient to provide starting. 6 dwg
