SOIL TILLAGE METHOD Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural production, in particular, fall tillage of soil. SUBSTANCE: method involves ripping upper soil layer; grinding and embedding stubble and other plant remains into this layer by means of spherical disk batteries; providing overall boardless ripping of lower soil layer by flat hoes and deep strip ripping of plow sole. During ripping of upper soil layer, width of strip is maintained within the range of 25-60 cm, stubble is not disturbed and strip interval is within the range of 200-700 cm. Plow sole is plowed at both sides of strip with undisturbed stubble to depth exceeding 30 cm. Width of ripped soil strips bottom is less than their depth. Upper soil layer with undisturbed stubble is additionally crumbled without mixing by rotary, for instance needle-type or cutter-type working tools.
