FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method includes preliminary strip tillage of topsoil with non-driven working elements and subsequent tillage of its lower layer with forcedly rotating rotor-gear working elements. Strips of preliminary tillage and cutting of soil during subsequent tillage coincide. Depth of preliminary tillage makes 0.2-0.4 of the depth of the latter. Width of preliminary tillage strips is less than the interval between their axes, which makes 0.75…1.5 of the preliminary tillage depth. When preliminary tillage is carried out, plant remains and turf are cut, and preliminary tillage strips are partially cleared from cultivated soil.
EFFECT: technology will make it possible to reduce energy intensity of deep soil tillage, to reduce power inputs for a drive and to ensure stable completion of agrotechnical process to treat foul agricultural backgrounds.
