FIELD: oil processing and petrochemical industry. SUBSTANCE: benzene fractions are brought into contact at 470-520 C and at pressure 1-3 MPa, the process is carried out in the presence of platinum- and rhenium-containing catalysts being filled into 3-4 consequently disposed reactors. In the first reactor catalyst having balanced ratio of Pt and Re is used, said catalyst comprises 0.34-0.38 mass % of Pt and 0.34-0.38 mass % of Re (ratio Re/Pt being 0.89-1.12). In next reactors catalyst having non-balanced ratio of Pt and Re is used, said catalyst comprises 0.34-0.38 mass % of Pt and 0.18-0.22 mass % of Re (ratio Re/Pt being 0.47-0.64). EFFECT: increased yield of stable catalysate. 3 cl
