ROAD COATING SPREADER Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: road building; compacting of road coatings made of bitumen-mineral mixes. SUBSTANCE: spreader has self-propelled chassis. Intake hopper with feeders, auger distributing mechanism and traction bars coupling working members with frame are mounted on chassis frame. Working member has tamping bar, vibroplate and deflecting shield. Frame of walking tamper is hinge connected with traction bars. Tamping bars are hinge-mounted on hydraulic cylinders on tamper frame. Longitudinal dimensions of support surfaces of tamping bars decrease in direction of machine straight ahead movement. Stops with springs and limit switches of electric spools of hydraulic control system are installed in lower portion of frame. Vibration exciter is secured on frame and ballast weight is mounted. Coating cooling system has cooling agent supply source, connecting pipelines and coolers installed on tamping bars. Running wheels are installed on eccentric axle hinge-coupled with hydraulic cylinder rods. EFFECT: enhanced operation. 4 dwg
