FIELD: burning fuel and wastes. SUBSTANCE: primary air is fed under bar screen into layer of fuel and secondary air is fed above layer of fuel; air flows are so regulated that intensity of burning on bar screen rises to increased fraction of oxygen of primary air and decreases in zone of secondary combustion due to reduced fraction of oxygen in secondary air; fraction of oxygen in secondary air is reduced due to use of flue gases returned from burning process.
