FIELD: thermal treatment of rotating parts. SUBSTANCE: induction heater has inductive wire in the form of extended loop the sides of which are bent over circle arc, and end section is bent out. Basic part of loop is bent over circle arc the radius of which equals radius of part being heated. End section is bent out in radial direction to the inside of circular heating zone and is coupled to main loop over circle arc of radius r. It has straight section of length d coupled to preceding section also over circle arc of radius r. The above-indicated values are selected from definite relations given in the form of mathematic dependence. EFFECT: more effective heating of rotating parts. 2 cl, 3 wdgl
