FIELD: induction heating devices, possible use in any industrial branch during thermal processing of complex shape parts and during tests of strength and durability.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to invention, two branches of water-cooled coil, enveloping product being heated consist of current-conductive wire, to which inductive plates of alternating width are connected. Mathematical expression is provided for determining area of inductive plates. Wire and plates may be positioned equidistantly relatively to product surface or with varying gap.
EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities of inductive heating of complex profile products, for example, turbo-machine blades with prescribed uneven distribution of temperatures.
