FIELD: oil industry and agriculture, in particular, recultivation of lands in oil mining and transportation areas. SUBSTANCE: method involves examining lands to be recultivated, with contamination extent of 3 l/sq.m considered as low, 15 l/sq.m - as average and 30 l/sq.m as high; performing staged agrotechnical and phytoameliorative cleaning of lands for several years by treating lands with sorbent, mellowing, forming snow fences, cultivation, application of mineral fertilizers, harrowing, sowing of nitrogen-gathering grasses; plowing green mass onto green manure crop. During the first and subsequent two years agrotechnical and phytoameliorative operations are conducted in predetermined sequence, combination of operations and duration as well as at predetermined seasons of year depending on extent of contamination.
