FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to environmental protection during development of oil and gas fields. Method includes step-by-step execution of a recovery cycle. At the first stage of spent drilling mud and/or slurry processing granulated peat is used, granules of sorbent are introduced and liquid manure is introduced in amount providing for obtaining pH of extract of obtained artificial soil in range of 6.5–8.5. Artificial soils are distributed on relief and are plowed with main soil. At the second stage, organic fertilizer is applied into soil cover of at least 40–60 kg/ha in the form of liquid manure, and the soil moisture content is brought to 60 %. After drying of sludge sediment of manure, cultivation is performed with simultaneous harrowing at depth of 25–30 cm, leveling and rolling. At the third stage, seeds of oil-tolerant grasses are sown with a seeding rate of 20 kg/ha, additionally liquid manure is introduced and green mass is put into soil in autumn under ploughing and/or bushes and trees are planted.

EFFECT: method provides the possibility of processing spent drilling mud and / or slurry into artificial soil, increases activity of soil microorganisms, reduces soil density and erosion processes, increases humus content of soil.
