FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has two versions, one is useable for setting bone fragments and another one is useable for their stabilization. The device useable for setting bone fragments has two threaded rods bound with repositioning unit having two casings 3 of rectangular shape rigidly connected to each other. Clamps are arranged in pairs over one threaded rod by means of fastening rings, their branches having threaded bushings with a rod. The rod has sharp operating end provided with thread. The fastening ring has locking bolt with rest which surface is produced so that it corresponds to rod thread. Tube is set over the other threaded rod. The tube also bears fastening rings with clamps arranged in pairs. The external fixation device has threaded rod, one end of which has fastening rings with clamps arranged in pairs. The fastening ring has locking bolt with rest. Tube is rotatably set over the other end of the threaded rod and enables movement along the rod axis. The latter also has clamps attached to it by means of fastening rings. The external fixation device has threaded rods one of which has two threaded rods being in perpendicular relation to each other on the same side, their axes belonging to the same plane. The other rod is L-shaped and placed on one of strips having longitudinal slits for threaded rods and locking pin. EFFECT: reduced traumatic complications due to preserved integrity of the medullary cavity of a bone; improved rigidity of bone fragment fixation. 4 cl, 10 dwg
