FIELD: veterinary science, prophylaxis. SUBSTANCE: method deals with applying as medicinal preparations 30-% sodium thiosulfate water solution and 0.1-1.0-% phenol water solution. Injection of these preparations is conducted simultaneously, moreover, the former is injected intravenously at the dose of 50-100 mg/kg body weight, and the latter is injected intramuscularly at the dose of 2-4 mg/kg body weight once daily for 5 days after delivery with prophylactic purpose and till recovery - with curative purpose. EFFECT: higher efficiency of prophylaxis and treatment. 1 tbl
