FIELD: automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: invention allows vertical load acting onto first axle of tractor to be maintained within optimal values by adjusting torsion angle of torsion bar depending on mass of transported load. Adjustment is effected by turning axle of adjustment worm 15 by its square-section shank. Worm 15 rotates worm gear 14 secured on tubular shaft 12 thus forcing torsion bar 7, which is connected with the tubular shaft by splines, to twist. Twisting of the torsion bar results in additional load onto the first part of the articulated frame of the tractor and in more reliable adhesion of the tractor front wheels with the road. Two stops 13 available on the hinge fork make it possible to fix required torsion angle. EFFECT: improved operating characteristics of train with truck having articulated frame. 2 dwg
