FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: Fe(3+) ions present in form of mixture with Fe(2+) ions in phosphoric acid produced by wet process are reduced to Fe(2+) ions. Once reduced, Fe(3+) ions are removed from phosphoric acid by cationic ion exchange. Reduction of Fe(3+) ions can be effected electrolytically. Ion exchange can be varied out with help of ion exchanger resin either in its acid form, or in Na(+) or K(+) form. EFFECT: effective approach for phosphoric acid purification. 5 cl
