FIELD: multi-chamber kilns for roasting carbon materials; electrode industry, mining industry, by-product coke industry and other industries dealing with decontamination of flue gases from organic compounds. SUBSTANCE: multi-chamber kiln includes technological chambers with detachable roofs connected in series, under-roof furnace space and gas cleaning unit. For recovery of heat of cleaned flue gases directly in kiln without additional heat exchange devices and decontamination of flue gases of aerosols of resinous substances including benzpyrene at efficiency of 99.99. Gas cleaning unit is made in form of portable lined metal housing mounted on last technological chamber of roof and provided with preheating chamber equipped with burners and cleaned gas chamber which is brought in communication with under-roof space of technological chamber. Cassettes with mullite siliceous fibre material are arranged between them. Preheating chamber is connected with waste gas passage of last but one technological chamber through branch pipe fitted with gate valve. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 dwg
