FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: kiln consists of chambers successively connected with fire wells. The chambers are divided with muffle partitions with vertical muffle channels. Also, the chambers are equipped with removable crowns for burning and a removable device for chamber forced cooling by means of ventilation, facilitating flow of cooling gaseous medium via the fire wells, sub-hearth space and muffle channels of a cooled chamber. The removable device for chamber forced cooling is made in form of a removable cooling crown pressure tight installed above the cooled chamber and fire wells during cooling. This device ensures ventilation by means of roof fans on the roof of the crown. The fans create vacuum in sub-hearth space of the cooled chamber.
EFFECT: raised efficiency of kiln due to reduced time for chamber cooling; raised quality of cooled items and reduced power expenditures for chamber cooling.
