FIELD: medicine, cardiology. SUBSTANCE: at volley stimulation of vagus nerve in animals, for example in female cat, heart rate is synchronized with the rhythm of volley sequence applied upon left vagus nerve and then by decreasing a temporal interval between vagus volleys a II stage AB blockade is induced. EFFECT: more simplified and easily reproducible model to be used in studying mechanisms that evoke arrhythmia and also in evaluating antiarrhythmic activity of different pharmacological compounds. 1 dwg
