FIELD: screw mixers for production of loose or paste-like mixtures. SUBSTANCE: screw mixer has body accommodating screw conveyor which shaft is hollow and has radial holes with built-in radial rods in spaces between screw flights. Attached to rod ends are members of tape helix with direction of spiral opposite to that of screw conveyor. Each space between flights has three members with height equalling 1/4h, 1/2h and 3/4h, where h is height of screw flight. Members of tape helix are installed for varying angle between member axis and axis of shaft rotation from 0 to 180 deg. EFFECT: improved design. 5 dwg
