FIELD: production of latex articles by dipping technique. SUBSTANCE: method comprises dipping glove-shaping moulds into coagulant solution, drying coagulant on moulds, dipping moulds into latex mixture with drying gel on moulds, washing gel, dipping gel-coated moulds into powder-coating mixture and finally drying. Moulds are dipped into coagulant solution for 35-36 s at temperature 30-40 C, followed by drying coagulant on moulds for 57-89 s. Moulds are dipped into latex mixture for 45-75 s at temperature 23-32 C, followed by drying gel for 57-89 s. Gel is washed with demineralized water at 70-85 C for 110-160 s. Gel-encrusted moulds are dipped into powder-coating mixture at 50-70 C for 7-14 s. Gloves are dried at 70-90 C for 7-10 min, whereupon they are taken off moulds and subjected to final drying at 80-90 C for 20-30 min. Coagulant solution has the following composition, parts by weight: 28-% CaCl₂ solution, 53-54; 40-% kaolin suspension, 11-13; and water, 33.5-34. Latex mixture has the following composition, parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of dry latex matter: chalk, 25; dispersing agent, 1.25; and sodium tripolyphosphate, 0.025; or latex mixture may be used which contains 0.70-0.75 parts by weight of aqua ammonia per 100 parts by weight of dry latex matter.
