METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURE OF DIPPED RUBBER GOODS Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: manufacture of dipped rubber goods, for example gloves, by the method of ion deposition. SUBSTANCE: moulds for dipped rubber goods are installed on a continuously moving conveyer. Moulds emptied of goods are fed to washing and mechanical cleaning. Then coagulant is applied to the moulds in a both. The moulds are dried and dipped in baths with latex mixes and dried off. Prior to washing, the moulds are treated by an alkaline solution. At mechanical cleaning the moulds are simultaneously rinsed. Then the moulds are cleaned by a solution of acid and dipped in a bath with a hot weak alkaline solution. At application of coagulant the moulds are successively dipped in the first coagulant containing salts of the acid of the cleansing solution. Then they are dipped in the second coagulant of high concentration and necessary viscosity. The device has a chain conveyer closed in the vertical plane, with mould wheels hinge-joined to it. The baths for the cleansing solution of acid, for the hot weak alkaline solution, for coagulant containing salts of the cleansing solution and for coagulant of high concentration and necessary viscosity are installed in succession. The baths with latex mixes are installed at a distance from each other providing for the minimum time interval between the going-out of the moulds from the first bath and their dipping in the second bath. The conveyer between the baths with latex mixes is furnished with a device for provision of the necessary angle of going-out of moulds from the first bath and their entering in the second bath at the instant of elevation of moulds from the first bath to the maximum height.
