Abstract RU 2103205 C1

FIELD: materials handling facilities; unloading with volumetric metering out and simultaneous compacting of loose materials. SUBSTANCE: proposed loose material meter-compactor has split housing with discharge hole in peripheral part of bottom, fixed hollow axle installed in housing and accommodating a shaft installed for rotation and provided with divides on its top, with loosener installed on cylindrical portion of divides. Two sectional vane rotors are installed in ports of cylindrical portion of divides for radial displacement. Rotors are mounted one over the other. To limit radial displacement of rotors fixed hollow axle is furnished with rigidly secured cams. Cover with inlet hole is installed between loosener and upper rotor in housing. Diaphragm with hole made at side opposite to discharge hole is installed between rotors. Diaphragm divides housing into two chambers. Cylindrical part of housing of upper chamber is installed eccentrically relative to axle and shaft in direction to inlet hole. Cylindrical part of housing of lower chamber is installed eccentrically relative to axle and shaft in direction of diaphragm hole. Cylindrical parts of housing chambers are provided with perforations and are closed by hoods. Height of upper and lower rotors is taken to provide volume of sector space under hole in diaphragm equal 1-1.5 the volume of sector space under this hole. Shape of diaphragm hole corresponds to shape of section of upper rotor, and area of this hole is equal to area of section of upper rotor. Shape of inlet hole in cover corresponds to shape of section of upper rotor, and area of this hole is equal to area of section of upper rotor. Loosener in proposed meter-compactor can be made in form of auger. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities.
