FIELD: agricultural engineering, food-processing, pharmaceutical and other branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: coater has coating drum equipped with guides and composed of two chambers: conical chamber and toroidal chamber attached to end of conical chamber, bulk material dosing device, and binding solution feeding device. Conical chamber has inlet cylindrical part with spiral ribs. Guides of conical chamber are formed as spiral channels. Arrangement of spiral channels facilitates acceleration of process for initial formation of raw granules. Granulated and partially dried granules are fed into toroidal chamber for final processing thereof. EFFECT: increased efficiency in coating particles of bulk materials and in granulating, simplified construction and maintenance and improved quality of coated materials. 6 dwg
