FIELD: water treatment practice; sports facilities. SUBSTANCE: method involves filling the pool with recirculating water which is replenished and simultaneously discharged through overflow system. Coagulant and flocculant are added to replenishing water. The latter is subjected to settling until sediment is precipitated. Sediment is removed and water is added to recirculating water at point upstream of fine filter. Novelty of the method is in that prior to adding coagulant and flocculant, replenishing water is heated p to 24-26 C, and coagulant and flocculant are introduced at mixing for at least 1 h, and then settled for at least 4 h. Coagulant and flocculant are dosed taking into consideration quality of replenishing and recirculating water. Water discharged through overflow system is collected in tank and periodically used to regenerate fine filter. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 1 dwg
