FIELD: locking devices. SUBSTANCE: this is used for locking doors, windows, etc. Lock with catch and spring has base component 10, catch 5 with protrusion 6 for engagement with thrust strip 4 adapted for emerging from closed position by overcoming resilient counteraction. Also provided is operating device 12 for moving catch 5 back to open position in which catch 5 can turn around its axle relative to base component 10. Open position is obtained by turning around axles 7, 9 outside. Resilient member 19 is located so as to retain catch 5 in position which is parallel to closed position. Catch 5 and base component 10 together create opposite members of four-link mechanism in which catch 5 by means of first hinge 7 is connected by one end which forms protrusion with link 8. This link by means of second hinge 9 is connected with base component 10. Catch 5 by its other end by means of third hinge 11 is connected with operating device 12 which in its turn by means of fourth hinge 14 is connected with base component 10.
